The implementation of Urgent Action Fund (UAF) Africa Project being implemented by Voice of Disability Initiative (VDI) is set to start in full force as VDI holds an orientation meeting with Data Collectors at De Glory Hotel, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State. The UAF project is aimed at increasing access to education for Adolescent Girls with Disabilities who are out of school in Bayela and FCT.
The orientation meeting which took place between 16th and 17th August 2024 was anchored by Mr. Ogiji Edward, VDI Monitoring and Evaluation Officer along with Mr. Izu Douglas.
Highlights of the meeting include:
– Understanding data tools for effective data capture
– Ensuring data quality and control
– Respecting individual respondent’s rights
– Use of observation and direct questions
– Maintaining privacy and confidentiality
– Question and answer session for clarification
– Clarifying work duration and reporting channels
– Commitment and signing of letter of offer.
