On February 5, 2025, VDI also paid an advocacy visit to Oyo State Agency for Persons with Disabilities, where the Director-General shared the agency’s achievements in employing 520 persons with disabilities and appointing 33 individuals to political positions.
The agency committed to providing technical support, assigned a staff member to the project, and extended an invitation for VDI to participate in future events.
Additionally, the team met with the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education and scheduled a follow-up meeting with the JONAPWD Chairman.
