On the 14th of August, 2024 the Executive Director of Voice of Disability initiative gave a speech at the ASHWAN program tagged: Closing the gap, breastfeeding support for all.
She appreciated the dogged and resilient spirit of all mothers who do their very best for their child, also emphasizing the importance of breast milk in the life of infants. She talked about the importance of a supportive network for breastfeeding mothers especially for people with disabilities, focusing on the need for greater collaboration with ASHWAN to ensure that women with disabilities are equally carried along in information that is crucial to the health and wellness of mother and baby.
