The training commenced with a dynamic warm-up session at Roses Regency Hotel and Suites, Wuye, Abuja. Participants engaged in a session on self-awareness and assertiveness, utilizing the “I Am, I Have, and I Can” principle to inspire confidence and focus on future goals.
The Program Manager provided an overview of VDI and the VDI/UAF-IGNITE project during a dialogue session with parents and caregivers of adolescent girls with disabilities (AGWD). Additionally, Ogiji Edward, the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, presented on “Building Stronger Relationships: Supporting Adolescent Girls with Disabilities” at a sensitization and dialogue meeting.
