In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2021, VDI held townhall dialogue/sensitization meeting on advancing the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Nasarawa State with support from Disability Rights Fund.
The sensitization meeting followed immediately a day after VDI had paid advocacy visit to key stakeholders in Nasarawa on issues of SRHRs in Deaf women and girls with disabilities. Some of the key stakeholders visited were, Ministry of Women Affairs, Emir of Lafia, Human Rights Commission, Secretary to the State Government, Islamic Organization of Nigeria amongst others.
