Empowering Adolescent Girls with Disabilities: Sensitization and Life Skills Training

On 12th and 13th November, 2024, Voice of Disability Initiative (VDI) successfully hosted a Sensitization, Dialogue Meeting and Life Skills Training for adolescent girls with disabilities and their parents/caregivers at Golden Tulip Apartments and Resort, Bayelsa State.

   

The Executive Director of VDI, Barr. Catherine Edeh, facilitated an open discussion on key concerns and addressed the parents/caregivers of the adolescent girls with disabilities during the sensitization and dialogue meeting.

   

The meeting featured a role play on communication skills, listening skills facilitated by Uzoamaka, VDI’s Programs Manager, Mr Edward Ogenyi amongst others.
