VDI holds a 2-Day Strategic Plan Review Meeting

The Voice of Disability Initiative (VDI) hosted a critical 2-day strategic plan review meeting on 20th and 21st August, 2024 at MSP Residence, 113 Emeka Anyaoku Street, Area 11, Garki, Abuja. The event brought together a diverse stakeholders and experts from various organizations, government agencies, Civil Society Organizations and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities to enhance the review of the Strategic Plan to define a clear road map for effective implementation of the reviewed version of the strategic plan.

Over the course of the intensive two days, participants engaged in collaborative group work, deep discussions, insightful presentations, and consensus-building sessions, all focused on refining VDI’s Key Result Areas. The group-based approach fostered teamwork and a strong sense of shared responsibility as participants meticulously examined the strategic plan.

Following each group’s presentation, the floor was opened for rigorous scrutiny and feedback, sparking lively debates and ensuring that all perspectives were thoroughly considered. This inclusive process guaranteed that every voice was heard and valued.

A standout moment came during the Communication department’s presentation, which led to valuable suggestions on how to effectively market and publicize the Strategic Plan, further enhancing the organization’s communication strategy.

Through this dynamic and interactive review, VDI has reaffirmed its commitment to collaborative excellence, setting the stage for a brighter and more impactful future.
