The inclusion advocacy agenda of VDI to stakeholders in Kwara State was a success as many Ministries, Departments and Agencies expressed their willingness to collaborate with the organization to implement a 2-year project on advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of women and girls with disabilities being funded by AMPLYCHANGE.

The Kwara State Government, Hon. Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hon. Commissioner for Health, Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Commissioner for Communications, VC of University of Ilorin, Nigeria Police, amongst others.
Speaking during the advocacy meetings with the key stakeholders, the Executive Director of VDI, Barr. Catherine Edeh expressed gratitude to Kwara State Government for being one of the first states in Nigeria to come up with a law to protect the rights of PWDs. She however stated that VDI will work with all stakeholders to ensure the implementation of the law through the establishment of a Disability Commission in Kwara State.
