During the meeting, fruitful discussions took place regarding the intersectionality of disability and HIV/AIDS within Nigeria’s public health landscape.
Together, we explored opportunities for collaboration and partnership to address the unique challenges faced by persons with disabilities (PWDs) in accessing HIV/AIDS services and support.
The engagement shows the importance of inclusive HIV/AIDS programming that prioritizes the voices and needs of PWDs. We are grateful for the receptiveness and commitment demonstrated by the NACA team in working towards a more inclusive and equitable approach to HIV/AIDS prevention and control.
